Tamil Nadu New Reduced Syllabus 2020 - 2021
40% of the syllabus for TN school students has been reduced for this academic year 2020-21 based an expert committee's recommendation in the backdrop of pandemic, School Education Minister K A Sengottaiyan said
For Class 1st to 12th class. Due to the delay in the opening of schools in Tamil Nadu, the syllabus has been reduced by 40% to alleviate the inconvenience of students, said the Minister of School Education, Senkottayan.
According to the report of the committee of the Tamil Nadu government, the syllabus reduction work has been completed and the syllabus has been reduced by 40% in Tamil Nadu on the basis of the committee report from 1st to 12th class.
The 18-member panel, set up to look into reducing the syllabus for the 2020-21 academic year in view of closure of schools due topandemic, submitted its report last month and based on this, 40 per cent of the syllabus had been cut Tamil Nadu School Students.
